A friend: "You've a lot of good friends that love you, you at 35 have had beautiful women that an average man can wait for a life. You've persons that trust in you, you have true faith in God, you've love of parents, you have proposals for important projects and your future as well, you have the higher level of study, fine taste and education, international relationships, you're well known on the Internet, and..."

"You're kidding? I don't have love".

"You will find...".

"I'm not. I would leave all this out, for real love."

"What if there were a place? Where you could live forever? In love and beauty? This is the promise of the island"

"The perfect life".

"The perfect lie".

So starts one of the trailers of The Island.

Along with The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy movie, This I think will be the most interesting movie of the summer.. Not only for the plot, still really interesting, but also for the presence in the cast of Scarlett Johansson, She will enlight the film, she'll do. :)

I like those movies with vision of devastating future - since Blade Runner it's a dogmatic vision - it won't happen never good after 2000 (or even before, following Snake Plissken).

Here you're chosen in a lottery, in order to life in an uncontamined place in the earth: one of the last remained. It takes no long to understand it's not so fictious hypotesis.

"Prepare your escape". Slogan perfect for me now.

The phrase: "The life you think you had... It never happened!"

Something changed

Just a reminder :)

Btw: received some mail recently? If not, tell me. I will do. :)

Sometimes, in our bloggers' life, private matters enter in some way that force us to some changes in our public sphere.

This is, sadly, one of those moments.

Who reads me from time to time, together, obviously, with whom knows me in real life, knows this is a real difficult period of my life, due to some events that happens one more other from more than a year, not only for the loss of my beloved father.

To contact me via internet is even more difficult. I know it, and I really apologize with all. Some private blogs appear too..

I hope all will be soon as good as..

CENTRAL COURT - 8:30 PM
Women's Singles - Third round
Maria Sharapova (RUS) vs Mary Pierce (FRA)

One of the good things of Rome is that sometimes there's a really international event that enlightes the spirit. The "internationals of tennis" Telecom Italia Masters) is one of those events. Tonight I'll be there. She plays! :-)

I would close with the past. But it's the past that doesn't want to close with me.
(not mine, but true)

What I like of Magnolia, is that, along by time, i find it always a small masterpiece.
From citations so precise and ironic, to the thin, stumbling pain of the protagonists, to the suffering, till to the soundtrack. The sound. That motif that's on all the movie. I like it.
